Dr. Sandra L. Weidner was

Dr. Weidner,
who is board-certified in pediatrics, was born and raised in
Reading, graduating from Reading High School in 1975. After
graduating from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, she moved on to graduate
studies in microbiology at the University of Pennsylvania,
Philadelphia, PA, and one year of cancer research at the Wistar Institute
there.
She graduated from Temple University School of
Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 1985. Dr. Weidner served her pediatric residency at the Upstate
Medical Center-SUNY in Syracuse, NY, where, in her last year, she served as chief
resident and received the resident teaching award. While in Syracuse, she worked
as pediatrician to the Onondaga Indian Reservation.
Dr. Weidner has practiced with The Children's Clinic since 1991. Her practice
interests include ADHD, healthy lifestyles for kids and general pediatric care.
In addition to her practice commitments, she serves on the boards of CONCERN and
the Berks Visiting Nurse Association, as she has several committee
responsibilities at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Weidner is
a fellow of the American Academy of
Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Medical
Societies.
In her free time, Dr. Weidner enjoys travel, reading, walking and spending time
with her husband, Dick.
