CARE PHILOSOPHY
IT'S OUR PRIVILEGE
The physicians and staff of Children's Clinic of Wyomissing appreciate the
opportunity to be of service to our children, the most delicate, vulnerable and precious age
group in our society.
IMPORTANCE OF PEDIATRICS
At the Children's Clinic, the practice of pediatrics extends from the care of
newborns and small children through adolescence. The importance of a
pediatrician in the care of your children can be easily measured by the special
emphasis placed on preventive medicine, careful monitoring of growth and
development, and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of your child's
illness.
WE'RE RESPONSIBLE
We feel a strong sense of responsibility, not only when your children are ill,
but throughout every aspect of their growth and development. Seeing your
children for routine examinations when they are well allows us the opportunity
to offer anticipatory guidance and parental support in such areas as nutrition,
behavior and preventive medicine.
WE’RE SUPPORTIVE
We provide free seminars on Asthma, ADHD and Breastfeeding education. We are
nationally recognized as Asthma Center of Excellence. We are Breastfeeding
friendly and encourage Breastfeeding for at least 1 year as recommended by the
American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Ezard and Dr. Cordes are members of LaLeche League and Academy of
Breastfeeding Medicine. If we are unable to answer your breastfeeding questions
we will refer to a Lactation Consultant who is available to meet with you in our
office.
WE'RE
ALWAYS AVAILABLE
At least one of our 6 board certified pediatricians is available 24 hours a
day, every day, to answer your call and to see that your needs are being met. We
have evening, weekend and holiday hours for our patients' convenience with quick
and easy access. We provide hospital care at Reading Hospital
&
Medical Center as well as St. Joseph Medical Center.
